Tom Cruise to visit Korea for 12th time next month

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise will visit South Korea for the 12th time to promote Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

According to Lotte Entertainment, the film's Korean distributor, Cruise announced in a video released on April 14 that he will return to Seoul with the cast on June 8. “I’m so excited to see you all again,” he said.

Cruise first visited Korea in 1994 for Interview with the Vampire and most recently came in 2023 to promote Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

The upcoming film, the eighth in the franchise, marks the final chapter in Ethan Hunt’s journey. It was also the first in the series to be invited to the non-competitive section of the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
