Lee Seung-gi wins ₩5.8B in lawsuit against Hook

On April 4, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Division 20 ruled in favor of singer and actor Lee Seung-gi in a lawsuit against his former agency, Hook Entertainment (now Chorokbaem Media).

 

The court ordered Hook Entertainment to pay Lee an additional ₩5.8 billion (approximately $5 million) in unpaid advertising fees. 

 

This ruling follows Lee's previous claim that he had not received any earnings from digital music sales over his 18-year career. ​
