Renowned singer-songwriter and KAIST's visiting professor, G-Dragon, is rumored to be a guest speaker at the upcoming '2025 Innovate Korea' event, scheduled for April 9 at KAIST. On April 2, social media buzzed with a list of celebrities set to participate in the event, including hosts Ahn Hyun-mo and Park Kyung-lim, performers Ha Hyun-woo, Sunmi, and Chungha, as well as actor Lee Jung-jae, who is slated for a talk show segment.

Among the lineup, a 'special guest' was teased with a concealed image and described as a 'KAIST professor and singer,' bearing a distinctive silhouette resembling G-Dragon. The identity of this guest is set to be revealed on April 4. The event is free to attend, with registration details to be announced soon.

In June of the previous year, G-Dragon was appointed as a special professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST. At the time, he expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I anticipate a 'big bang' resulting from the collaboration between top science and technology experts and my entertainment domain." His tenure is set to continue until June 2026.
