Actor Park Sung-joon apologized on Wednesday for posting a pornographic image on Instagram, which allegedly looked like a parody of Netflix original series “Squid Game 2.”
“I deeply apologize for causing inconvenience to you due to my big mistake,” he said in an interview on season 2 of “Squid Game” held at a café in Seoul. “The photo I received via Instagram’s direct message seemed to have a problem, so I tried to send it to the person in charge. But it went up to the story in public. I didn’t see such a video, and I don’t think it should be made. I’ve never even created a social media account that some people suspect,” he said.
Park Sung-joon, who played a transgender named Hyunju in the latest season of Netflix series “Squid Game,” uploaded a cover image of a Japanese porn video on his Instagram Story on Dec. 30 and immediately deleted the post.
