Cho Seung-woo, Nam Joo-hyuk, Roh Yoon-seo confirmed to star in new occult drama

Actors Cho Seung-woo, Nam Joo-hyuk, and Roh Yoon-seo will be starring in a new Netflix series “East Palace” (working title).

According to Netflix on Thursday, “East Palace” follows the story of Gu Cheon (played by Nam Joo-hyuk), who can traverse through the world of ghosts and defeat them with his sword, Saeng Gang (played by Roh Yoon-seo), a court lady with the ability to hear ghosts, and the King (played by Cho Seung-woo), who enlists their help in unearthing the palace’s curse.

“East Palace” is written by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won from “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” and will be helmed by director Choi Jung-kyu of “The Devil Judge.”
