BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s “Rockstar” hits listeners worldwide

Lisa’s “Rockstar” has reached listeners around the world. 

On June 28, Lisa released her new single “Rockstar” on music sites around the world.

Upon its release, “Rockstar” debuted at No. 8 on the Global Spotify Daily Chart in the U.S., making it the biggest debut single for a female K-pop solo artists in the history of the global Spotify charts.

“Rockstar” also debuted at No. 1 in her home country of Thailand with over 2.57 million streams, surpassing the No. 15 and No. 28 peaks of her previous releases “Larisa” and “Money” on Spotify, respectively, and reaching the highest daily streaming record for any album ever released in Thailand.

The “Rockstar” MV also proved Lisa’s global appeal. From Australia to the UK, France, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Turkey, Mexico and the UK, the MV trended at No. 1 and topped YouTube’s worldwide trending MVs.
