NewJeans to perform at Gyeongbokgung

NewJeans will make a special performance at Gyeongbokgung, a Joseon era palace in Seoul.

NewJeans recently completed the pre-shooting of the special stage at Gyeongbokgung ahead of the “2024 Korea On Stage – New Generation”, which will be held in front of Heungnyemun, one of the gates of Gyeongbokgung, on May 21.

The two-hour event, hosted by the Korae Heritage Service and organized by the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation and KBS, will mark the occasion of the official renaming of the Cultural Heritage Administration as the Korea Heritage Service.

“It is a great honor to perform at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, a valuable heritage of the country. It will be a great memory that will be remembered for a long time,” NewJeans said. “We hope many people will take this opportunity to pay attention to the country’s national heritage.”

NewJeans’ special performance will be aired on KBS2TV’s “Korea On Stage” on May 21 at 11:25 p.m.
