Oh My Girl’s Seunghee to join the cast of “Oasis”

Oh My Girl’s Seunghee will be joining the cast of upcoming coming-of-age KBS drama ‘Oasis’ (literal title).

On January 18, WM Entertainment revealed, “Seunhee has been cast as Ham Yang Ja in KBS2’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Oasis’.”

“Oasis” is a drama that is set during the 1980s and ‘90s when South Korea was undergoing rapid changes economically and culturally. The drama will tell the story of three young people who give their everything to protect their dreams, friendship and the very first loves of their lives.

Seunghee will take the role of Ham Yang ja, Oh Jung Shin’s best friend since their high school days. She dreams to become a singer, and takes the bold step of moving from the countryside to the city to pursue her dreams. She is straightforward in her words.

“Oasis” will premiere in March.
