Bumkey declared innocent of charges

Rapper Bumkey has been declared innocent on the drug charges against him.


On April 20, the Seoul Eastern District Court declared him innocent in the final hearing.


The court said, "There isn't enough substantial evidence and document to prove the witnesses' testimony."


Regarding his drug injection charges, the court said that there is no concreteness or certainty in the testimony and no evidence to prove Bumkey's drug injection charges.


After the announcement of Bumkey's innocence, his mother and sister broke down in tears.


Bumkey's agency head Rhymer said, "Thank you to those who believed in Bumkey's innocence. We are sorry to worry you."


Meanwhile, Bumkey was charged with dealing and injecting drugs in October of last year, and was declared innocent after a long court debate of 6 months.
