Song Hye-kyo to star opposite Song Joong-ki in drama “The Descendant of the Sun”

Actress Song Hye-kyo has been confirmed to star in KBS2TV's upcoming drama "The Descendant of the Sun."

On April 2, a media outlet reported that Song Hye-kyo accepted the offer to star in KBS2TV's drama "The Descendant of the Sun."

According the report, the drama production and the actress' agency UAA have been positively discussing Song Hye-kyo's appearance in the drama, and they finally decided to work together.

Anticipation is running high as Song Hye-kyo will be starring with Song Joong-ki to create a possible love line.

Meanwhile, "The Descendant of the Sun" is a humane melodrama that tells the story of the sacrifice and love of the people who work at disaster scenes. The drama will start filming next month, when Song Joong-ki discharges from the military.
