Actor Lee Byung-hun opened up about his blackmail scandal.

On February 26, Lee Byung-hun and his wife Lee Min-jung returned to Korea after finishing their schedules in Los Angeles. The couple arrived at Incheon International Airport at 7:10am and made clarified their position on the recent scandal to the reporters and fans who gathered at the airport.

After sending his pregnant wife Lee Min-jung home, Lee Byung-hun stood before the reporters. He said, "I had to make an apology to you, but I'm sorry couldn't. As a well-known person, and the head of household, I caused deep disappointment and even discomfort. I caused this scandal so I should bear the criticisms all by myself."

He added, "Many were disappointed. I will reflect on myself deeply. Once again, I apologize for it. I'm sorry. I owe my family more than life and I was scolded a lot. Because it happened because of me, I hurt many people so I'm sorry."

Meanwhile, Lee Byung-hun is planning to star in 'Beyond Deceit' with veteran actors Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, and more. Lee Min-jung is expecting a baby in April.
