Actor Lee Min-ho showed off his popularity in Philippines.
On February 24, Lee Min-ho visited Philippines to meet local fans at the event held by Kyochon Chicken, where the actor is working as an endorsement model.
The event took place in Green Hills Center in Manila and nearly 10,000 fans came to the event. Due to the crowd gathered around the building, a local police force came due to safety concerns.
Starting with the 2009 drama "Boys Over Flowers", Lee Min-ho has become one of the hottest stars in Philippines with many projects. Local media picks his 'unchanging manner' as the reason for his popularity and highly praised him for promoting Korean culture.
Lee's agency StarHaus rep said, "People with different nationalities gather every time, but when they speak to Lee Min-ho, they speak in fluent Korean to express their affection. It's amazing how their Korean gets better every year."
Lee Min-ho's film "Gangnam Blues" is set to premiere in Philippines on March 4.
