AsiaToday reporter Park Sung-eun = "I heard that Charmzone has become the seventh most preferred cosmetic brand in China. Our aim is to make Charmzone the most preferred cosmetic brand in China within five years," said Kim Gwang-seok, Chairman of Charmzone Cosmetics, at an event held on Thursday at Daechi-dong headquarters of Seoul, where twenty-some Chinese journalists and bloggers attended to cover Korea's beauty industry.
In a welcoming speech, chairman Kim said, "Charmzone has been making only base make-up over the past 30 years. Charmzone Cosmetics concentrate on three effects - whitening, skin elasticity, and moisturizing - which work great to Asians, and those who have experienced our products keep using them because of the effects."
Kim continued, "In 1994, Topnews was created. Then Midnight Special Cream, and Skin Town Gold Cream followed. And now the company has created Charm In Cell. Charmzone is the world's best luxury beauty brand that I'm proud to recommend."
Kim revealed that he was especially impressed by China. He said, "I believe young people who attended this event are the infinite potentials for China. I'm 76 years old and I'm like a dying candlelight but here I am with my passion to light a new candle and promote Charmzone in Chinese market."
Meanwhile, Charmzone held a 30th anniversary ceremony on November 20, and announced its goal of achieving global sales of 1 trillion won through its '2020 Plan'.
