Ha Ji-won wins Daesang at ‘2013 MBC Drama Awards’

Actress Ha Ji-won of drama 'Empress Ki' got the Daesang award (grand prize) at the '2013 MBC Drama Awards'.

The '2013 MBC Drama Awards' took place on December 30 at MBC Building in Seoul. Ha Ji-won won in three categories: Acting of the Year Award, Popularity Award, and Daesang Award. This is her first time having a victory at the awards since she won the Daesang at the '2006 KBS Drama Awards' for drama 'Hwang Jini'.

Ha Ji-won said, "This trophy is in my hands but there it goes to all the staff members. I thank all of you who were there for me when I was having the hardest time."

She continued, "This award is really heavy. I'll do my best in order to become an actress who could relay the story of many people."
