Group Crayon Pop cancelled its plan for setting up an account for fan gifts.

On August 26, Crayon Pop's agency Chrome Entertainment announced, "The previous announcement that was posted did not intend to cause concern among fans so we apologize. We will come up with a better idea on the matter and announce it later."

Prior to this announcement, the agency posted a message on the fan site saying, "The number of fans has grown with Crayon Pop's popularity, and it's getting hard to manage all the gifts. We will not be accepting any more gifts given in person or through the mail. Instead, we plan to set up a special account for gifts. Those who want to send gifts to the members can send money to the account, which will be used to make a donation to charity."

The agency added, "We will donate the money in the name of fans not the agency. The details the donation will be posted for everyone to see."

However, many fans suspected that the agency tried to receive money instead of gifts. As the announcement became very controversial issue, the agency immediately cancelled its plan to set up the gift bank account.
