Naver Ventures, the U.S. investment arm of Naver, has invested in AI assistant developer Instinct and AI music generation company Suno. The move reflects an expansion of its investment portfolio beyond AI foundation models and semiconductors into service sectors that handle users' everyday tasks or generate content.

According to Naver Ventures' official website on the 21st, its portfolio list includes Instinct and Suno, alongside Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Positron AI.

Instinct is a U.S. company developing a personal AI assistant that executes actual tasks—such as making reservations and managing subscriptions—in response to user instructions. Suno operates an AI service that generates music based on text prompts entered by users. Naver Ventures introduces Suno on its official website as a generative AI music enterprise.

Beyond these, Naver Ventures has invested in AI model developer Anthropic, AI chip designer Positron AI, and video understanding technology firm Twelve Labs. In effect, it has secured portfolio companies across diverse domains ranging from foundation model development and compute infrastructure to voice, video, and music generation services.
