TVING announced on the 2nd that it will review its overall cloud environment and bolster its security framework by leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) security improvement programs. Moving beyond a one-off assessment, the platform plans to implement remediation tasks in phases to heighten service reliability and customer data protection standards.

Based on this evaluation, TVING is restructuring its security architecture around five core areas: identity and access management, detection capabilities, infrastructure protection, data protection, and incident response and automation. The company is inspecting externally exposed assets and excessively granted access privileges, while establishing an environment capable of rapidly detecting and responding to anomalous activity.

The Security Improvement Program (SIP) utilized for this initiative is an AWS security offering that diagnoses actual cloud environments, defines action items, and supports implementation. Areas requiring improvement were identified by applying the Center for Internet Security (CIS) security controls, the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, and AWS security standards.

For multiple AWS accounts, AWS Organizations is applied to manage security policies from a centralized point. While governing distributed security elements across individual accounts under consistent standards, TVING is also reinforcing its response system to detect anomalies in real time and automatically execute necessary remedial actions.

TVING is also expanding the rollout of AWS Network Firewall, the threat detection service Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub for posture management, and Amazon Inspector for automated vulnerability assessments. By pairing workshops and expert sessions with regular follow-up reviews, the company plans to continuously incorporate assessment findings into its operational security framework.

A TVING official stated, "We are systematically reviewing our overall cloud environment through AWS SIP and executing identified remediation tasks step by step. Through routine reviews and continuous improvements, we will continue fostering an environment where customers can use our services with complete confidence."
