In the second half, it continues to diversify its order intake to include crude oil tankers, container ships, large LNG carriers, and VLGCs.

In the offshore sector, the company won orders for two floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities worth 4.4 billion dollars, meeting 54 percent of its annual target of 8.2 billion dollars. An official from Samsung Heavy Industries said, "Customer demand for shipbuilding is diversifying in line with shifts in the global energy market and the transition toward eco-friendly vessels." The official added, "We will proactively respond to customer demand based on our construction experience accumulated across diverse vessel types and our eco-friendly technological competitiveness."
