CJ ENM is expanding its distribution of Korean content across Central and Eastern Europe, using Poland as a strategic hub. The South Korean entertainment company is broadening its footprint in the European market by strengthening partnerships with local institutions and supplying programming to broadcasters in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
CJ ENM announced on the 17th that it participated in the "2026 Korea-Poland Brand Week" held in Poland on the 15th and 16th (local time), where it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Cultural Center in Poland and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) to promote K-content.
Under the agreement, the company plans to expand screening and promotional programs across Poland while deepening engagement with European organizations.
At the event, CJ ENM operated interactive experience booths featuring its major intellectual properties, including "Lovely Runner" and "The Legendary Military Chef," alongside a special screening of the latter.
During a talk session featuring Studio Dragon Chief Producer Kim Tae-hoon, the creative team discussed the planning and production process behind the works with local attendees.
Distribution partnerships also expanded. CJ ENM has entered into partnerships with Czech Republic's TV Nova and Slovakia's TV Markiza to supply a total of 10 popular catalog titles.
"Through interactions with local institutions and content industry officials, we have established a cooperative foundation to expand K-content in Poland," said Kim Do-hyun, head of the Content Distribution Business Unit at CJ ENM. "Working with local partners, we will expand opportunities for European viewers to access a diverse lineup of CJ ENM content."
CJ ENM continues to broaden its overseas distribution through collaborations with global broadcasters and over-the-top (OTT) streaming platforms. Going forward, the company plans to scale its partnerships across Europe and global markets through localization strategies tailored to individual market environments and audience preferences.
