President Lee Jae-myung reportedly held a dinner meeting with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won on the 20th.

This marks their first meeting in about a month, since they met together with global tech CEOs including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in San Francisco last month.

President Lee and Chairman Chey are believed to have discussed the "3 Mega-Projects," including the Honam semiconductor cluster project.

Given recent reports that the U.S. has been pressing for semiconductor investment as part of South Korea's investment package in America, attention is also on whether related discussions took place.

However, the presidential office said it "cannot confirm details of an unannounced schedule" regarding whether the meeting between President Lee and Chairman Chey took place that day.

Political observers suggest President Lee will likely continue meeting with corporate leaders such as Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo to discuss the 3 Mega-Projects.
