Hyundai Motor announced on the 11th that it will hold "2026 Hyundai N Virtual Cup," Korea's largest sim racing esports championship.

The event will be held in partnership with major domestic institutions, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the G-Star Organizing Committee.

Launched in 2024, the "Hyundai N Virtual Cup" is Korea's largest sim racing esports competition, held through collaboration between local governments, the gaming industry, and automakers.

This year's official racing game for the Hyundai N Virtual Cup is Gran Turismo 7, a globally renowned racing simulation game.

Twenty-four of Korea's top players, selected through online qualifiers beginning on the 14th, will advance to the main tournament. Various additional events, including a university student competition and an influencer competition, are also planned.

Through this event, Hyundai Motor aims to build fandom for its N brand, expand its connection with the esports generation, and contribute to strengthening the global competitiveness of Korea's gaming and esports industries.

Park Jun-woo, executive director of Hyundai Motor's N Management Office, said, "The Hyundai N Virtual Cup sim racing competition offers customers an easier way to engage with motorsports and will significantly contribute to spreading high-performance car culture in Korea," adding, "We hope more customers can experience Hyundai N through the familiar platform of gaming."
