KT, in partnership with Google, is launching a new "Choice" plan lineup that combines mobile service with generative AI benefits.

KT announced on the 11th that it has created a new lineup combining its Choice plans with Google AI benefits, aimed at making AI easy to use in everyday life. The plans include Google AI Plus (400GB) as a standard benefit, with the option to upgrade to higher-tier AI offerings depending on customer needs.

Specifically, the lineup includes four plans: Choice90 Google AI Plus, Choice110 Google AI Plus, Choice130 Google AI Plus, and Choice Double YouTube Premium+Google AI Plus.

KT explained that customers can use Gemini for tasks like document writing, information search, translation, and studying, along with 400GB of cloud storage, adding that the storage can also be shared with up to five family members through a family-sharing feature.

The new lineup includes Google AI Plus (400GB), valued at 7,500 won per month, as a standard benefit, allowing customers to use generative AI services without a separate subscription.

KT emphasized that by offering Google AI benefits starting from plans in the 90,000-won range, it has created an environment where more customers can naturally incorporate generative AI into daily life.

The company said it has also expanded customer choice based on how much they use AI. Instead of the standard Google AI Plus (400GB), customers can upgrade to Google AI Plus (2TB) for an additional 4,400 won per month, or to Google AI Pro (5TB) for an additional 21,500 won per month.

Kim Young-gul, head of KT's Customer Business Division, said, "As generative AI rapidly becomes part of customers' daily lives and work, we've introduced this offering so that anyone can easily and conveniently experience AI," adding, "We will continue expanding new customer experiences that combine telecom and AI services."
