Eastar Jet is holding open recruitment for cabin crew, with plans to hire around 30 people.

Eastar Jet announced on the 3rd that it is conducting proactive hiring in line with new aircraft introductions and route expansion.

The selection process proceeds in the following order: document screening, situational response interview, physical fitness test, executive interview, and pre-employment medical checkup.

In the situational response interview, applicants are presented with hypothetical scenarios to assess how they respond and their flexible thinking skills.

The physical fitness test checks basic physical fitness needed for in-flight emergency situations through long-distance running, back strength measurement, and decibel (voice projection) testing.

Applicants majoring in nursing or holding related certifications can receive bonus points, and those with strong foreign language skills, such as Japanese or Chinese, will be given preference.

Applications will be accepted from that day through the 29th, via Eastar Jet's recruitment website. Final selected candidates will join as intern cabin crew in October.

An Eastar Jet official said, "We plan to select talent suited to the core role of cabin crew as in-flight safety personnel," adding, "There is no age limit, as long as candidates score well at each stage of the process."
