Samsung Electronics announced on 27th that it starts pre-orders for Galaxy Z8 series from July 28 through August 3. Official domestic launch date is August 7, and pre-order customers can receive and activate devices starting August 4.
Company offers double storage benefit to pre-order customers buying 256GB models, upgrading storage to 512GB model for free. Pre-order customers buying 512GB models of Fold8 Ultra and Fold8 can upgrade to 1TB model by paying additional 310,700 Korean won.
Additionally, Samsung offers 10% discount coupon for Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 usable at Samsung.com, 30% discount coupon for accessories, 6-month Google AI Pro subscription, and 3-month Welaaa subscription.
Samsung Electronics also introduces exclusive accessories for 8th generation Galaxy Z series. Company releases Carbon Magnet, Carbon Standing, Silicone Magnet, and Clear Magnet cases for Fold8 Ultra and Fold8, as well as Flipsuit, Silicone Ring Magnet, and Clear Magnet cases for Flip8. In particular, magnet cases featuring mother-of-pearl design, which gained popularity in Galaxy Buds4 series, are newly introduced for Fold8 and Flip8.
Samsung Electronics operates New Galaxy AI Subscription Club alongside new products. Subscribers receive up to 50% guaranteed residual value upon device return, along with benefits such as Samsung Care Plus and accessory discounts. In particular, 2-year plan for Galaxy Z Flip8 newly introduces Flip Youth Subscription, raising guaranteed residual value ratio upon device return from previous 40% to 50%.
Monthly subscription fees for Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 are 9,900 Korean won per month for 1-year and 2-year plans, and 14,500 Korean won per month for 3-year plan. Galaxy Z Flip8 costs 8,900 Korean won per month for 1-year and 2-year plans, and 11,500 Korean won per month for 3-year plan. Pre-order customers of Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8 can receive trade-in compensation based on device reference price with double storage discount applied, delivering even greater perceived benefits.
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 comes as LTE single model priced at 969,100 Korean won, released in Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray colors. Galaxy Watch9 comes in two sizes, 44mm and 40mm, priced between 499,000 Korean won and 569,800 Korean won. Customers buying Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 will receive two 50% discount coupons for dedicated bands and 6-month TimeFlik watch face subscription, with social media verification event Watch Decoration Challenge taking place together.
