Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR) announces second-half revisions for Rising Leaders 300 program. /MOTIR

Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources announced on 27th that it opens applications for second-half Rising Leaders 300 program designed specifically for middle-market enterprises.


Rising Leaders 300 is dedicated financial support program for middle-market enterprises jointly launched by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and Woori Bank since 2023.


Program identifies and supports high-growth potential middle-market enterprises across four major areas including exports for global leaders, R&D for K-tech leaders, ESG for future value creators, and AX for growth accelerators.


Application window for second half was moved forward from September to July to identify promising middle-market enterprises early and provide timely funding.


Program also restructured its support categories from previous DX sector for digital growth to AX sector for AI growth, strengthening support for middle-market enterprises securing new growth drivers and building sustainable cooperative ecosystem based on pioneering AI transformation and tech innovation including participation in M.AX Alliance.


Application period runs from July 27 to August 14, and selected companies will be announced in early September following recommendations from specialized sectoral institutions and financial evaluations by Woori Bank.


Selected companies will receive financial support including loans up to 30 billion Korean won per company and interest rate cuts up to 1.0 percentage point, along with non-financial services such as tailored consulting.
