Maeil Dairies is expanding its push into the North American market by launching eight signature products at Olive Young stores in the United States.

According to Maeil Dairies on July 22, eight of its flagship products have entered the Olive Young store in Pasadena, California, as well as its US online store.

The newly introduced lineup includes three varieties of Maeil Soymilk centered on a low-sugar and high-protein concept (99.9 Plain, High Protein Plain, and Black Bean), two flavors of the dairy beverage Picnic (Apple and Nectarine), and three formats from the inner beauty brand Selex Millcera Collagen (Drink, Powder Stick, and Gummy).

Maeil Dairies noted the growing interest in the US extending beyond K-beauty to K-wellness. As the global spread of K-content drives curiosity about Korean food culture and lifestyle, demand for healthy foods and functional beverages is also rising.

Its flagship Maeil Soymilk targets consumers who favor vegan and plant-based diets. Featuring a low-sugar formulation and plant-based protein, it comes in shelf-stable aseptic packaging for portability and convenience. Packing over 9g of protein per serving, it aims to capture demand for protein-supplementing drinks.

First launched in 1984, the long-standing Picnic brand leverages its image as an iconic Korean convenience store drink to appeal to young consumers interested in K-culture. The nectarine flavor in particular gained significant popularity in Korea, causing sell-outs upon its initial domestic release.

Selex Millcera Collagen is an inner beauty product containing milk ceramide, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and biotin, offered in various forms including liquid, powder stick, and gummy. The company plans to differentiate the line as "edible beauty" products for global consumers familiar with K-beauty.

"As American consumers expand their interest to healthy Korean lifestyles and food products, attention toward K-wellness is growing rapidly," a Maeil Dairies official said. "Starting with this launch at Olive Young, we will strengthen our brand competitiveness in the global market and continue expanding our overseas business."

Maeil Dairies products are available at the Olive Young Pasadena store, while the Selex Millcera Collagen Gummy is also sold at the Century City location. All items can be purchased through Olive Young's US online store as well.
