SK Telecom is exclusively launching the budget-friendly 5G smartphone 'Galaxy Wide 9.'

SK Telecom announced on July 3 that the Galaxy Wide 9 will be available through its official online mall, T Direct Shop, and offline T World retail stores.

Priced at 469,700 won, the device features a large-capacity 5,000mAh battery supporting up to 25W fast charging, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, and a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. Compared to its predecessor, which weighed 200g and measured 7.9mm thick, it offers competitive specifications for its price point, including a lighter weight of 192g and a slimmer profile of 7.5mm.

"With the ZEM app pre-installed to help cultivate healthy smartphone habits, this device serves as an excellent option for a child's first smartphone," SKT explained.

Customers purchasing the Galaxy Wide 9 through T Direct Shop will also receive T Gift benefits, including a 30,000 won Daiso voucher or a Lumena wireless desktop fan.

"The Galaxy Wide series has been a staple budget-friendly lineup that has received steady support from customers over the past decade," said Yoon Myung-won, Head of Channel & Device at SKT. "We will continue to expand customer options by introducing devices equipped with solid specifications at reasonable prices."
