BMW Korea announced on June 24 that it is introducing a new Black Trim variant to enhance the presence of its flagship 7 Series luxury sedan.
The Black Trim treatment will be applied to two specific models: the BMW 740i xDrive M Sport Limited and the BMW 740d xDrive M Sport.
While keeping the standard specifications and driving dynamics of the baseline models intact, the special edition adds deep, black high-gloss design accents to key exterior components.
For the BMW 730i and 740d Black Trim models, critical exterior elements—including the side mirror blades, side window frames, door handles, and side sill covers—have been finished in a rich black high-gloss coating, replacing the traditional silver chrome elements.
Under the hood, the Black Trim Sport Limited model is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder gasoline engine.
The powertrain delivers a maximum output of 381 horsepower and a peak torque of 55.1 kg·m. Meanwhile, the Sport model features a BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder diesel engine, putting out a maximum of 299 horsepower and a peak torque of 68.3 kg·m.
In addition, both models come standard with 48-volt mild hybrid technology and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
The BMW 740i xDrive M Sport Limited Black Trim is priced at 160.8 million won, while the BMW 740d xDrive M Sport Black Trim enters the market at 150.7 million won.
