BYD Korea announced on June 22 that it has officially opened its BYD Auto Namyangju showroom in Byeollae New Town, Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. Covering a total floor area of 357.073 square meters, the showroom is capable of displaying up to five vehicles.
Namyangju Byeollae is a major new town in the northeastern metropolitan area, situated adjacent to Namyangju, Guri, and Uijeongbu, as well as the residential commercial zone of Nowon-gu in Seoul. With large-scale residential districts such as Byeollae New Town, Dasan New Town, and the Galmae District established nearby, the area boasts a stable electric vehicle infrastructure, including charging stations. It is also recognized as a territory with high demand for practical family cars due to its large proportion of residents in their 30s and 40s with families.
Notably, the area around Byeollae Station, where the showroom is located, is served by the Gyeongchun Line and is scheduled for the opening of the GTX-B line, making it one of the transportation hubs connecting northeastern Seoul with northern Gyeonggi Province. Accessibility to major road networks, such as the Capital Region First Ring Expressway and the Guri-Pocheon Expressway, is also excellent, which is expected to allow convenient visits from both nearby residents and weekend travelers.
"We are striving to turn accessibility itself into a brand competitiveness to reach more customers," an official from BYD Korea stated. "Moving forward, we will continue to suggest a lifestyle integrated with future eco-friendly mobility within our customers' daily living zones in a more familiar manner, thereby building brand trust."
Meanwhile, DT Networks, which operates a total of 13 BYD passenger vehicle showrooms including the new Namyangju branch, has prepared various customer events. The dealership will present BYD reusable bags to all visitors, BYD golf umbrellas to customers who complete a test drive, and BYD carry-on travel suitcases to customers taking delivery of their vehicles.
