Samsung Electronics is launching the Galaxy A37 5G in South Korea.

On June 18, Samsung Electronics announced that it will introduce the Galaxy A37 5G on June 19 in three colors—Awesome Lavender, Awesome White, and Awesome Charcoal—priced at 598,400 won.

The device features a 170.1 mm (6.7-inch) FHD+ Super AMOLED display that supports up to a 120 Hz refresh rate, delivering a smooth and immersive screen experience for everything from watching videos to gaming. For camera performance, the rear is equipped with a triple camera setup: a 50-megapixel wide-angle, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.

In particular, the wide-angle camera applies a 1.0-micrometer (㎛) pixel sensor size that can take in more light. A Samsung Electronics official explained that this supports brighter and sharper shooting even in low-light environments. Along with this, the built-in Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) feature helps reduce blur during shooting to capture various moments more clearly.

The company also emphasized that the Galaxy A37 5G is equipped with Awesome Intelligence, a mobile AI exclusive to the Galaxy A series, allowing users to utilize AI features more conveniently. With Object Eraser, users can easily remove unnecessary subjects within a photo, or by utilizing the Edit Suggestion feature, the AI analyzes the image to recommend various improvements such as enhancing resolution and removing shadows.

"The Galaxy A37 5G is a product that strengthens everyday usability, including Awesome Intelligence AI features, cameras, and displays," said Jung Ho-jin, Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea. He added, "We will make efforts so that more consumers can experience Galaxy AI and mobile innovation features."
