Sam Altman, OpenAI CEO, has postponed his visit to Korea.

On the 12th, industry sources said Altman decided to reschedule the visit that had been planned for the 14th due to an important engagement in the United States. Originally, Altman was scheduled to visit Korea from the 14th for a one-night, two-day trip to meet with executives from Samsung Electronics, Kakao, and Naver to discuss expanding ChatGPT services.

An OpenAI representative said, "Sam Altman, OpenAI CEO, has postponed his visits to Asia, including Korea, due to unavoidable personal circumstances. Sam was also looking forward to this trip, so he is very regretful that he will not be able to carry out the planned schedule."

The representative added, "Korea is a very important country and a strategic partner for OpenAI, and the collaborations currently underway with domestic partners will continue as planned. We hope he can visit Korea again in the near future to greet everyone in person."
