| Naver will offer a new viewing experience for live broadcasts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. / Naver |
Naver announced on June 11 that it will livestream all matches of the upcoming North American World Cup on its streaming platform Chzzzik, offering features such as co‑watching with streamers. It will also provide real‑time AI short‑form clips, VOD highlights, and AI briefings based on official FIFA data through World Cup search and special services.
The co‑watching broadcasts will feature popular streamers including Han Dong‑suk, Wolf, Shootballove, EstaTV, Channel Sibo‑ya, and Playv. As the first domestic streaming platform to introduce co‑watching, Chzzzik will deliver stable streaming of the largest World Cup ever—48 nations and 104 matches—while enabling real‑time interaction and cheering.
During live matches, Naver will provide AI‑generated short clips and quickly upload player and match highlights afterward for users who missed the broadcasts. FIFA data‑based AI briefings will analyze lineups, tactics, and key points before games, and offer player ratings, highlights, and match analysis afterward.
From June 12, users watching football or “FC Online” and “FC Mobile” streams on Chzzzik can play three mini‑games directly within the broadcast screen. Naver will also integrate user data with Nexon to deliver personalized game content and banners, linking viewing with gameplay.
Additionally, Naver will operate a dedicated World Cup lounge community for fans and experts to share cheering, analysis, and discussion, while providing real‑time data such as win probabilities, team predictions, match and player records, and advancement odds.
Naver will also collaborate with FIFA sponsor Coca‑Cola to host a “World Cup prediction” event, offering up to 1 million won in Npay points to participants who correctly predict all match results in each round. Other rewards include Npay points and Coca‑Cola coupons for thousands of participants.
New subscribers to Naver Plus Membership who have not used the service within 90 days will receive benefits such as full access to World Cup live streaming, shopping coupons worth up to 10,000 won, and discounts at Kurly Nmart.
