The 'BMW Excellence Lounge 2026' concluded with great success, drawing over 1,000 BMW Luxury Class clients from May 21 through May 27. The BMW Excellence Lounge is an exclusive, private event designed to deliver BMW's signature, highly distinctive cultural experiences to Excellence Club members and clients awaiting delivery of their Luxury Class models.

According to BMW Korea on May 28, the event was hosted at Project Space Line, a cultural venue located in Gangnam District, Seoul, under the overarching theme of "Progression." Transcending the boundaries of automotive engineering, the gathering conveyed BMW's core brand philosophy through diverse disciplines, including art, music, technology, and gastronomy, providing a curated experience that engaged all five senses of the participating clientele.

The exhibition venue showcased flagship models including the i7 luxury all-electric sedan and the M850i xDrive Gran Coupe high-performance luxury coupe. To deepen client engagement, the organizers operated dedicated docent programs alongside luxury class test-drive initiatives. The showcase also generated substantial client interest by unveiling the "2026 BMW Concept Speedtop," a highly exclusive model limited to just 70 units globally.

The event featured an array of guest lectures delivered by prominent experts who shared compelling insights regarding luxury lifestyles and future trends. The speaker roster included big data analyst and author Song Gil-young, political science expert Dr. Kim Ji-youn, music director Kim Moon-jung, humanities author and media personality Cho Seung-yeon, former professional Go player Lee Se-dol, cognitive psychologist and Ajou University professor Kim Kyung-il, and neuroscientist Dr. Jang Dong-sun.

Furthermore, the exhibition spaces were integrated with masterpieces by artist Lee Kang-so, a titan of Korean contemporary art celebrated for building an original artistic universe across painting, sculpture, and installation. This curation established a unique spatial atmosphere where fine art and modern mobility coexisted in harmony. BMW Korea also revealed plans to debut a collaborative artwork co-created with Lee Kang-so at the upcoming Frieze Seoul 2026 exhibition scheduled for the second half of this year.
