BTS thanks fans for Grammy Awards nomination

BTS shared a statement about their historic Grammy Awards nomination in a Big Hit Entertainment press release.

On November 25, BTS said, “It feels like the fruition of our effort, so we are happy beyond words. It is fascinating and moving. We are grateful to ARMY, who gave us an opportunity to be nominated. We are even happier thinking about how our fans will like this. Now that we are nominated, we feel ambitious about getting the award.”

BTS was nominated for the 63rd Grammy Award in the Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance.

The nomination makes the group the first South Korean act to be nominated for all three major U.S. music awards that include the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

BTS has won both the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

The Grammy Awards will be held Jan. 31.
