Taeyeon tops iTunes charts in 24 regions with “Purpose” repackaged album

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon has topped iTunes album charts with the release of the repackaged version of her second full album “Purpose”!

Shortly after the release on January 15, Taeyeon’s repackaged version of the 2nd full album ranked #1 on iTunes top album charts in 24 regions in the world, such as Australia, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Hungary, Lebanon, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Macao, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Paraguay, Russia, Arab Emirates, and Israel.

In addition, title track “Dear Me” is also sweeping major real-time music charts, including Melon, Bugs, and Genie as of Thursday.

Meanwhile, Taeyeon will hold “Taeyeon Concert – The Unseen” for three days from Jan. 17 to 19 in Olympic Park in Seoul.
