Actor Lee Min-ho is receiving a flood of congratulations from his fans around the world on the ninth anniversary of his debut.
Lee Min-ho officially made his debut in the EBS drama "Secret Campus" in May of 2006. His fans from all around the world gave supports and congratulatory messages to celebrate his 9th debut anniversary.
Lee's agency rep said, "Lee's fans from all around the world are celebrating his ninth anniversary by sending their heartfelt messages through letters, videos, and SNS and holding various meaningful events. We really appreciate fans' support and the events prepared for him."
Korean fans raised money in his name to donate to Nepal earthquake relief efforts. They also continued the six-year-long tradition of putting on large billboards in major spots of Seoul to display congratulatory messages and play scenes from his films and TV series.
Japanese fans named a street after him in downtown, where they put up banners and large billboards to display congratulatory messages. They also rented a bus that drove through major spots of Seoul for eight hours.
Chinese fans donated to the victims of the Nepal earthquake, and also sent him video messages.
His fans in Turkey conducted a paragliding performance at a height of 2,400 meters above sea level in Antalya to deliver their congratulatory message.
Lee Min-ho said, "I'm grateful for the warm support that I receive every year, and it gives me strength. I will repay you by doing great work."
