U.S. President Donald Trump unleashed sharp rhetoric aimed at the Democratic Party and progressive circles over the Labor Day weekend, moving to rally his base ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.

On Labor Day, the 7th (local time), President Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, "Happy Labor Day to all, especially to the Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, and foolish Democrats who will do anything to destroy our Country."

He continued, "These deranged people, after fighting for 10 years, should finally admit that they know their favorite President (ME!) knows how to WIN. You would think they would be tired by now, but sadly, they are not."

Trump added, "They will try one last time to wreck America, but we will NEVER let that happen. We will win a landslide victory in the midterms and SAVE AMERICA!"

Over the two-day period starting the previous day, Trump shared dozens of posts on Truth Social, with AI-generated images drawing particular attention.

Among them were images portraying him as the greatest president in American history, a map erasing New Mexico to rename it "New America," an illustration depicting him renaming Canada's Lake Ontario to "Lake America," and maps designating Canada and Greenland as U.S. territory.

These moves are seen as aimed at mobilizing his core "MAGA" (Make America Great Again) base to counter Democrats roughly two months ahead of the midterm elections.

President Trump spent the Labor Day holiday weekend through the 7th at his golf club in New Jersey.

Arriving in New Jersey on the 4th, he drew public attention after swapping his signature blond hair for a darker brown shade.

Fox News highlighted online reactions to the new hairstyle, noting that Trump has rarely made noticeable changes to his personal appearance during his time in office.
