S-Oil continued its executive and employee talent donation activities by participating in a hands-on mentoring program designed to help youth design their career paths. The company set out to support youth employment by sharing job experiences and employment know-how, as well as providing on-site experience opportunities.
According to S-Oil on July 10, the company participated in the talent donation career mentoring program for Seoul youth, "Youth Job Talk," held at Sookmyung Women's University on July 7. Youth Job Talk is a career mentoring program operated by the Seoul Volunteer Center, targeting young adults aged 19 to 34.
In this mentoring session, five S-Oil employees from various fields, including sales strategy and management, accounting, employee training, and corporate social responsibility (CSR), participated as mentors to share their job experiences, employment preparation processes, and practical know-how. The mentoring is conducted in two sessions: a first face-to-face consultation and a second site-based career experience program.
An S-Oil official stated, "We hope that the experiences of current employees will be of small help to young people as they ponder their career paths. Moving forward, we will continue to support the growth of youth through our employees' talent donations and carry out social contribution activities together with the local community."
