LS ELECTRIC has demonstrated its strong competitiveness and high-growth momentum by securing another construction project for an AI data center in North America.
On June 17, LS ELECTRIC announced that it recently signed a contract worth 106.4 billion KRW (approximately 70.43 million USD) to supply a 38kV high-voltage power distribution system for a North American AI data center construction project. The supply period runs from August to November this year.
According to the company, LS ELECTRIC's order volume for North American big tech data center projects has approached nearly 1.2 trillion KRW this year. This achievement surpasses last year's total annual North American data center order volume of 8000 billion KRW in just half a year. Notably, this latest project is reportedly an additional order placed by an existing big tech client. Through consecutive orders, LS ELECTRIC is solidifying its partnership by establishing itself as a key partner responsible for constructing data center power infrastructure. This level of trust is evaluated to be driven by its differentiated project execution capabilities, including unrivaled technology, quality, and strict adherence to delivery deadlines.
LS ELECTRIC ensures supply chain stability and delivery competitiveness through its local production bases, including "LS ELECTRIC Utah" (formerly MCM Engineering II) located in Utah, and the "Bastrop Campus" in Texas. Based on its experience executing domestic data center projects, the company also possesses an extensive reference track record and quality competitiveness in core data center power equipment.
An LS ELECTRIC official stated, "Based on the trust we have built with big tech clients, we are continuously winning additional data center projects, gaining recognition for our technological prowess and supply capabilities," adding, "We will further strengthen our position as a power infrastructure construction partner for global big tech firms and accelerate our efforts to achieve historic high performance this year."
