Hyundai Motor Group has launched the 2026 season of its “HMG Driving Experience” program, expanding hands-on driving activities for beginners, enthusiasts, and families alike.

The program will run from May 9 to Dec. 6 at the HMG Driving Experience Center in Taean, South Chungcheong Province. Since opening in 2022, the center has attracted a cumulative 64,000 visitors.

This year, the group has strengthened its offerings by diversifying training programs for novice drivers. The existing “Basic Drive” course has been divided into “Light” and “Plus,” with the Plus program adding 40 minutes of real-road driving instruction, covering urban driving, parking, and wet-road conditions.

Brand-specific programs have also been expanded. Hyundai’s high-performance N division has introduced a new “N Track Performance” course, featuring vehicles such as the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N. The advanced program includes drift training, high-speed driving, racing line techniques, and data analysis, spanning a total of eight hours and 30 minutes.

Kia has enhanced its off-road experience programs based on the pickup truck Kia Tasman. The new “Tasman Experience” allows participants to drive on gravel, mud, and water courses, while the “Tasman Intensive” program combines off-road driving with camping activities.

The company is also expanding opportunities to test its latest electric vehicles, including the Ioniq 6 N, Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT, EV5 GT, and Genesis GV60 Magma.

Family-oriented programs have been strengthened as well. A newly introduced “Package Taxi” program offers ride-along experiences with professional drivers, allowing participants to choose from courses such as dry and wet tracks, high-speed driving, and off-road terrain. Camping-linked programs using EV5 and PV5 models have also been added.

For younger visitors, the “Junior Driving Experience” includes activities such as model car building and basic coding education, along with simulator-based virtual driving experiences using Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles.

Hyundai Motor Group said it will continue to expand family-friendly facilities, including nursing rooms and kids’ lounges, positioning the center as a comprehensive mobility experience space rather than just a test-driving venue.
