President Lee Jae-myung will host a meeting with major conglomerates and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on March 10 to discuss corporate cooperation and shared growth.

According to Presidential Office spokesperson Kang Yoo-jung on March 8, Lee will chair a forum titled “Dialogue with Business Leaders Practicing Shared Growth.”

The meeting will be held under the slogan “Seeds of cooperation bloom into shared growth,” aiming to encourage companies that have successfully implemented large–small business partnerships and to spread best practices across industries.

“Participating business leaders will present real examples of cooperation from the field and propose ideas for developing a stronger shared-growth ecosystem,” Kang said.

A total of 36 participants will attend the meeting, including executives from major corporations such as Samsung Electronics, SK Supex Council, Hyundai Motor, Hanwha Ocean and Naver, along with partner SMEs and related experts.

Several government officials will also be present, including the ministers of Economy and Finance, SMEs and Startups, and National Defense, as well as the presidential chief of staff, policy chief and senior secretary for economic growth.

During the meeting, Lee is expected to encourage continued cooperation between large corporations and SMEs while also listening to business concerns about the Yellow Envelope Act, which is scheduled to take effect on the same day, March 10.
