President Lee Jae-myung is set to host a dinner on Jan. 21 with the newly appointed floor leadership of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea, including floor leader Han Byung-do, officials said on Jan. 20.

The meeting follows a dinner the previous day at the presidential office with the party’s senior leadership, including party chair Jung Cheong-rae.

At the separate gathering with floor leaders, President Lee is expected to review the status of legislation tied to his New Year policy agenda and seek cooperation to advance key bills.

Meanwhile, the president is also scheduled to host a luncheon on Jan. 22 with members of the Democratic Party’s KOSPI 5000 Special Committee, led by chair Oh Ki-hyung, according to sources.
