A small but thoughtful detail at singer Lim Young-woong’s recent Daejeon concert has drawn widespread praise from fans, after a dedicated “bread storage booth” appeared inside the venue.
Lim held his national tour concert, IM HERO TOUR 2025 – Daejeon, from Jan. 2 to 4 at the Daejeon Convention Center’s second exhibition hall. Following the shows, photos and firsthand accounts spread quickly across online communities and social media highlighting the unusual but practical service.
The images showed staff members carefully collecting and organizing bags from Sungsimdang, Daejeon’s iconic bakery, as well as insulated tote bags brought by concertgoers. The booth addressed a recurring concern among fans, many of whom traditionally visit the bakery before heading to Lim’s Daejeon performances and had wondered whether they could bring bread into the venue or where to store it during the show.
Fans welcomed the move, saying it perfectly resolved a long-standing dilemma unique to Daejeon concerts. “They clearly thought through the audience’s entire travel route,” one fan wrote, while others said the gesture reinforced their trust in the overall management of Lim’s concerts.
The reaction also recalled earlier examples of Lim’s attention to audience comfort. At previous shows, organizers installed additional portable toilets to address restroom shortages, a move that was later cited as a model by other concert productions.
Lim’s concerts have repeatedly featured seasonal accommodations as well. Summer performances included indoor rest areas equipped with air conditioning and large fans, while winter shows offered waiting zones with heaters to help fans stay warm.
After wrapping up the Daejeon dates, Lim will continue his nationwide tour. He is scheduled to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul from Jan. 16 to 18, followed by concerts at BEXCO Exhibition Center in Busan from Feb. 6 to 8.
