Netflix’s Korean reality series Black and White Chef: Culinary Class Wars 2 and the film The Great Flood continued their strong global momentum, claiming the top spot in Netflix’s non-English categories for a second consecutive week.

According to Netflix’s official site Tudum on Tuesday, Black and White Chef: Culinary Class Wars 2 recorded 4.7 million views last week—calculated by dividing total watch time by runtime—ranking No. 1 in the non-English TV show category. The series topped charts in four Asian markets, including South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, and entered the top 10 in 16 countries overall, such as New Caledonia and the United Arab Emirates.

Building on the success of its first season, the second installment features a high-profile lineup of chefs that has fueled its popularity. Among the contestants are Michelin one-star chef Son Jong-won, recognized in both Korean and Western cuisine, Ven. Seonjae, Korea’s first master of temple cuisine, and Chinese culinary veteran Hu Deok-juk, who has 57 years of experience. The “black spoon” category also includes chefs with professional backgrounds at Michelin-starred restaurants, underscoring the competition’s depth of talent.

The franchise previously made history when its first season became the first Korean variety show to rank No. 1 on Netflix’s non-English TV chart for three consecutive weeks.

The disaster film The Great Flood also attracted massive attention despite mixed critical reception. It logged 33.1 million views last week, surpassing its debut-week figure of 27.9 million. Starring Kim Da-mi and Park Hae-soo, the film begins as a disaster movie before expanding into a science fiction narrative centered on maternal love and artificial intelligence.

Although it received relatively low scores on Rotten Tomatoes—50 from critics and 34 from audiences—the film topped Netflix rankings in 53 countries, including the United States, France, Spain, Turkey, Japan, Thailand and Saudi Arabia. It ranked within the top 10 in a total of 92 countries.

Several other Korean titles also performed strongly on the non-English charts. Netflix original series Cash Hero, starring Lee Jun-ho, placed second, followed by SBS drama Kiss Was a Mistake! in third. ENA drama Idol Child ranked sixth, while The Price of Confession, starring Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun, came in ninth.
