K-pop group SEVENTEEN has once again proven its powerful presence in Japan, successfully wrapping up a major dome tour that attracted a total of 420,000 fans.

SEVENTEEN held the final shows of its SEVENTEEN World Tour [NEW_] in Japan on Dec. 20–21 at Fukuoka PayPay Dome, bringing the month-long Japan tour to a triumphant close. The two concerts drew about 80,000 spectators and sold out early.

The tour kicked off on Nov. 27 and Nov. 29–30 at Vantelin Dome Nagoya, before moving on to Kyocera Dome Osaka, Tokyo Dome, and Fukuoka. Across four cities, SEVENTEEN staged a total of 10 dome shows, meeting fans known as CARATs throughout Japan.

During the concerts, the group delivered a roughly three-and-a-half-hour set featuring group stages and solo performances highlighting each member’s individuality. The setlist included “THUNDER,” the title track from their fifth full-length album, along with Japanese original songs such as “Not Alone” and “Power of Love,” as well as Japanese versions of “HIGHLIGHT” and “Rock with you,” drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience.

At the end of the show, the members expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for filling such huge venues,” and added that performing made them feel they were “sharing youth together” with fans. They also shared their hope to continue growing with CARATs and to soon stand on stage again as all 13 members.

For fans unable to attend in person, the tour was expanded through live viewings and online streaming. The second Nagoya show was broadcast via live viewing to about 1,100 theaters across 54 countries and regions, including South Korea. The Osaka and Fukuoka concerts were also streamed online, connecting with fans in South Korea, Japan, the United States, Canada, and beyond.

SEVENTEEN will continue its world tour in February and March next year, staging stadium-scale concerts in four Asian cities, including Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, the National Stadium in Singapore, the National Stadium in Bangkok, and the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
