The original soundtrack for the Netflix animated film K-pop Demon Hunters slipped one spot to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, the main U.S. albums chart, while TXT member Yeonjun entered the same chart at No. 10 with his first solo release.
Billboard reported on November 16 (local time) that the K-pop Demon Hunters OST ranked third on the Billboard 200, following Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl, which has held No. 1 for six consecutive weeks, and Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem at No. 2.
The soundtrack had earlier climbed to No. 1 for the second time overall last month, but was pushed down by Swift’s new album and held at No. 2 for five straight weeks.
The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on “album units,” a composite measure that combines physical album sales, streaming-equivalent units (SEA) and track-equivalent units (TEA). During the latest tracking week, the OST logged the equivalent of about 75,000 album units, down 11 percent from the previous week.
