The soundtrack of Netflix’s animated film K-pop Demon Hunters continues its remarkable run on the U.S. Billboard charts, setting records for both longevity and global reach.
According to Billboard on September 23 (local time), all eight tracks from the OST landed simultaneously on the Hot 100 for the 11th consecutive week. The theme song Golden held the No. 1 spot for a fifth straight week, marking its sixth overall week atop the chart. Industry watchers view the achievement as unprecedented for a K-pop–based animation and a sign of sustained international appeal.
Songs by the film’s fictional idol groups remain strong contenders. Boy group Saja Boys placed Your Idol and Soda Pop at No. 5 and No. 6, while girl group Huntrix kept How It’s Done in the top 10. Other entries include What It Sounds Like (No. 19), Takedown (No. 24), and Free, a duet by Lumi and Jinwoo, at No. 27.
A remix of Takedown featuring TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung rose two places to No. 59, underscoring how collaborations with real K-pop artists are resonating with listeners.
The OST album itself, which topped the Billboard 200 last week, slipped to No. 2 but remains in the top tier for an eighth straight week. Meanwhile, Golden continues to dominate globally, securing No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.
Separately, TWICE’s 14th mini album Strategy has also been boosted by its association with the film. The title track of the same name charted for a ninth consecutive week, climbing to No. 61 on the Hot 100.
