AxMxP, a rookie band under FNC Entertainment, made their official debut on Wednesday with a showcase for their first full-length album AxMxP at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Songpa District.

The group’s name stands for “Amplify Music Power,” reflecting their ambition to amplify the force of music and connect it to the world. “We want to be a band that can move people’s emotions through sound alone,” the members explained, adding that their aim is not just to be an “amp” but to project their emotions and messages through music.

As FNC’s first new band in a decade, the debut carried special weight. “It doesn’t feel real yet, but I hope people will look kindly on us,” said Joo-hwan. Hayu-jun added, “We started out as trainees and spent a long time preparing. Please keep an eye on us.” Crew pledged to meet expectations with strong performances, while Kim Shin said, “It’s an honor to finally debut after years of preparation.”

The 10-track debut album AxMxP presents a wide range of emotions. “The songs capture the colorless daily lives of youth,” Kim Shin noted. “Because the album shares the same name as the band, it’s the best way to introduce who we are.”

The triple title tracks — I Did It, Love Poem, and Shocking Drama — each showcase different sides of the group. Among them, Shocking Drama combines hip-hop and rock for an explosive sound channeling the pulse of youth. “We had too much to say for just one single,” the members explained. “With this full-length album, we wanted to present our narrative and identity more clearly, which is why we chose the triple-title format.”

On questions of authenticity, AxMxP highlighted their teamwork: “We rehearse together through the night, building trust, and each track carries a unique color and message. That diversity is our strength.”

Although the debut album includes only one self-composed track, the members emphasized their ambitions. “We are all working on writing, composing, and producing. We want to show audiences our full musical potential. This album is just the beginning, and we hope people focus on our growth process.”

Encouragement from senior FNC artists also helped boost their confidence. Ahead of the FNC Kingdom concert, veteran drummers advised them, “There are things you can only learn on stage,” and other seniors gave detailed support by instrument. “We’ll work hard to be juniors they can be proud of,” AxMxP said.

Looking ahead, the band declared: “We want to win the rookie award, which you can only get once after debut.” Their long-term dream is to hold solo stadium concerts in Korea and perform at iconic venues like Tokyo Dome and Las Vegas.

AxMxP’s debut album AxMxP was released on all streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on September 10.
