BTS member Jungkook has issued a stern warning to obsessive fans following a recent home intrusion incident, vowing strong measures against repeated invasions of his privacy.
During a live broadcast with fans on his birthday, Jungkook recounted the event, saying, “I watched everything through my home CCTV. When the police arrived, the intruder tried to open the underground parking gate.”
He added that the trespasser claimed to be his “friend,” but emphasized, “ARMY (BTS’s fandom) is like family and friends, but this was disappointing. If you come to my house again, I’ll lock you up. If you don’t want to end up at the police station, don’t ever come inside.”
On the night of August 30, a woman in her 40s was caught breaking into the parking garage of Jungkook’s residence in Yongsan, Seoul, and arrested on the spot. Just two months earlier, on the day of his military discharge in June, a woman in her 30s from China was apprehended after repeatedly attempting to enter his home by guessing the door code. Jungkook had also spoken out about stalker fan harassment in 2023.
BTS is currently working on a new album, scheduled for release next year.
