The Squid Game series has claimed the top three spots in Netflix’s non-English TV category, setting an unprecedented record in the platform’s global rankings.

According to Netflix’s official site Tudum on July 9, Squid Game Season 3 amassed 106.3 million views within just 10 days of release, making it the third most-watched non-English series in Netflix history. With this, Seasons 1 through 3 now occupy the top three positions in all-time viewership for non-English Netflix TV shows.

From June 30 to July 6 alone, Season 3 drew approximately 46.3 million views, securing the No. 1 spot across 93 countries for a second consecutive week. It is the first title in Netflix’s global Top 10 tracking history to rank first in every listed country for two straight weeks.

The latest season’s explosive success has also reignited interest in the earlier seasons. Season 2 recorded 4.9 million weekly views, landing at No. 2, while Season 1 followed with 3.8 million views at No. 3—putting all three seasons back in the weekly Top 10.

Season 3 continues the story of Gi-hun, who reenters the deadly game and suffers the loss of a close friend. Meanwhile, the mysterious Front Man infiltrates the game under disguise, and the season delves into the final fate of the remaining survivors. The show has drawn praise for its brutal game sequences, layered storytelling, and continued exploration of human nature and societal critique, leaving a deep impression on viewers.
